III. International Information and Technology Law Syposium

The "III. International Symposium on Information and Technology Law," jointly organized by the Association for Information and Technology Law and Istanbul Medeniyet University, will be held on November 29-30, 2024.

The first symposium took place from December 3-5, 2021, with approximately 2,000 participants attending both online and in person. During the three-day event, over fifty academic and scientific papers were presented in thirteen different sessions from eighteen universities across Turkey. The full-text papers presented at the symposium were published as a book, establishing an important resource in the field of information law.

The II. International Symposium on Information and Technology Law was held on November 19-20, 2022, at the Üsküdar Science Center, and the presented papers were published in a book titled "Yearbook of Information and Technology Law 2022."

The "International Symposium on Information and Technology Law" has become a tradition, serving as an academic platform where leading scholars, legal professionals, and representatives from the information and technology sectors come together to discuss innovations, developments, issues, and solutions in the field of information and technology law.

The upcoming symposium in 2024 will cover topics including Information Ethics and Digital Addiction, Metaverse, Artificial Intelligence, Crypto Assets, Intellectual Property, E-Commerce, Social Media, Information Crimes, Electronic Communication, Electronic Commerce, Digital Transformation, and other topics based on future paper submissions.
