Under the execution of our esteemed faculty member Asst. She will be working alongside with researchers Assoc. Prof. Fatih Buğra Erdem (Ankara Social Sciences University, Department of Commercial Law) and Asst. Prof. Ekrem Solak (Istanbul Medeniyet University, Department of Commercial Law), as well as scholarship holders Res. Asst. Büşra Yalın Aydın (Istanbul Medeniyet University, Department of Commercial Law), Res. Asst. Salih Karadeniz (Istanbul Medeniyet University Department of IT Law) and Aybüke Keskin. The project will be supported within the scope of TUBITAK ARDEB 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.
Increasing the competitiveness of Turkish companies both locally and globally has made it a necessity to use developing technologies such as systems supported by artificial intelligence and blockchain technology in company processes. The project, which will last two years, aims to investigate to what extent Turkish commercial law (especially joint stock company law) allows the use of developing technologies, to identify the problems that the digital transformation of joint stock companies may create in Turkish law, and to offer solutions using comparative law.
We congratulate all our academics involved in the project and wish them success.
