Our Faculty Law Workshop Club Visited Darülaceze

Our Faculty Law Workshop Club Social Responsibility Committee paid a visit to Darülaceze Nursing Home on March 24, 2025. In the event, which aimed to strengthen social solidarity and volunteering awareness, pleasant conversations were held with the nursing home residents, their life experiences were benefited from and a meaningful day was spent together.

During the visit, where the historical and cultural importance of Darülaceze was also emphasized, the activities of this long-established charity institution founded by Sultan II. Abdulhamid in 1895 were examined on site. Darülaceze, where elderly, orphaned and disabled individuals benefit from care, shelter and health services, also serves different faith groups with its mosque, church and synagogue.

During the visit, the importance of social solidarity was emphasized, and the time spent with the nursing home residents contributed to the reinforcement of social responsibility awareness. Law Workshop members stated that they will continue their work to continue such events and that they aim to keep this meaningful tradition alive with the participation of more volunteers.
