The first event of the “Legal Conversations with Veterans” series was held.
The first guest of the conference series titled “Legal Conversations with Veterans” initiated by the Department of Commercial Law of Istanbul Medeniyet University Faculty of Law was the veteran of commercial law, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Ülgen.
In the conference held in the mock courtroom of our Faculty of Law on June 2, 2025, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Ülgen shared valuable information about anecdotes from his professional life, basic concepts and institutions of commercial law and developments in this field, as well as foreign language learning and subtleties for lawyers. He shared his experiences regarding law education with the students.
The program was followed carefully by our faculty’s valuable professors and many students. At the end of the conference, books signed by Mr. Ülgen were presented to three of our students who participated in the program with a raffle.
