The seventh session of the "Research and Writing Techniques in Law" seminar series, organized in collaboration with our Faculty and the IBA Foundation, was held on February 25, 2025, at the Ziraat Bank Library Bankkart Hall.
The seminar, which is planned for law faculty academics and particularly research assistants and is held each month with a different speaker, featured Assoc. Prof. Selman Dursun as this month's guest. Assoc. Prof. Dursun shared his experiences on the intricacies of academic publishing.
In the first session of the two-part program, Assoc. Prof. Dursun addressed topics such as original topic selection, proper titling, the originality of the work and its contribution to the literature, and peer review processes.
The second session focused on questions from the participants. In addition to those physically present in the hall, participants who listened to the program online also conveyed their questions.
